Job Title Content Strategist
Overview
As the Content Strategist, you will be able to translate complex industrial information into meaningful content using both copywriting and graphics, thoughtfully selecting the best format depending on the media and audience and contributing to the overall development of the brand(s). You will be comfortable writing press releases, articles, product descriptions and emails, generating graphics for web, email and/or social media and analyzing website analytics for content direction.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with Leadership to develop comprehensive communications plans and programs from ideation all the way through to execution.
Develop and maintain email marketing communications plan, including headlines and copy through list management and deployment/execution.
Generate content for all brands and assist with distribution and monitoring of social media channels; analyze trends, report on results and optimize programs.
Write, produce and edit short form videos to support marketing and sales objectives including but not limited to trade show displays, sales presentations, and website content.
Work with Senior Marketing Manager and Product Managers to update content across all websites, striking a balance between technical details and general features and benefits
Research, write and distribute press releases and long form news articles for publication in trade media; maintain relationships with key editors and journalists.
Write headlines and body copy for ad-hoc advertising and sales collateral, including but not limited to direct mail, catalogs, sales sheets, and trade show displays.
Work diligently to update metadata across all sites following SEO best practices.
Work with Web Developer to review analytics and identify areas for improvement within websites/product pages.Work with all marketing team members to develop work instructions for relevant department tasks; assist Senior Marketing Manager with development of glossary of acceptable terms/abbreviations/etc. for all brands.
Maintain and manage trademarks for all brands
Comply with Quality Management System requirements.
Other duties related to marketing, communications and content development as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience developing content for a technical product/audience, working knowledge of SEO best practices, 3-5 years experience
