Job Title Marketing and Brand Manager
Overview
The Marketing and Brand Manager will develop relationships with internal clients and collaborate to develop clearly defined marketing and communication objectives that support business goals. They will act as a liaison with GEHA’s internal creative team and/or agency, to translate business objectives into a comprehensive marketing communications plan with best-in-class tactics. In addition, they will ensure marketing and communications plans are delivered on time and within budget. This role requires a mix of analytical and creating thinking skills and may be responsible for overseeing research, developing insights, competitive analysis, creating project briefs, collaborating on brand strategies and managing day-to-day tactics for specific projects and campaigns.

Responsibilities
Foster and cultivate relationships with internal stakeholders to become an “expert” in helping them meet their goals and priorities. This includes understanding emerging trends and developing project briefs with measurable KPIs that support department and corporate goals.
Partner with internal Creative team, Customer Experience, Digital Excellence, Analytics, Project Management teams, Sales and our external agencies to outline marketing and communication plans that achieve GEHA’s priority goals.
Assure all projects are executed within agreed timelines and align with the approved project brief.
Keep internal stakeholders informed on project status and manage expectations.
Report on the performance of marketing and communications initiatives, including observations, insights and recommendations for future enhancements to improve effectiveness.

Qualifications
A four-year degree in communications, marketing or related field or a combination of education and relevant experience totaling four years.
Seven years of experience in marketing strategy development or equivalent
Experience driving strategic planning for an organization or agency
Will need to be able to provide a sample portfolio upon request of project briefs and/or marketing or communication plans with corresponding campaign results.
In-depth understanding of the entire integrated marketing spectrum, including traditional and digital channels.
Must be a self-starter who is comfortable working individually and collaboratively.
Deadline driven with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
Requires excellent written, communication and presentation skills.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Preferred
Knowledge of the health care industry, with emphasis on insurance and health care management
Experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Social Studio and Workfront project management software
Experience working in Account Services at an advertising agency
