COVID-19 has Kansas City down, but not out. Comeback KC is a group helping KC rebound safely and responsibly.
Covid-19 isn’t going away anytime soon, but KC never quits. If we're down, we come back and win. That's the spirit behind Comeback KC, a group formed earlier this year to help KC make a comeback from COVID-19 the right way – safely and responsibly. We're not just going back to normal, KC will come back better and stronger than ever.
Join Mark Logan and Eric Morgenstern, two Comeback KC leaders, at this interactive Zoom meeting, to learn how they’re getting the word out about this important initiative. They’ll also share the purpose, accomplishments, and challenges ahead for Comeback KC. They're asking everyone to advocate these core principles, amplify their messages, support their team, and connect them to others.
Comeback KC coordinates a unified message across our region’s various dividing lines. They are not political. The group works closely with public health authorities and private and non-profit sectors of our community. Public health and science lead our efforts. Nearly 200 regional leaders signed this Open Letter to show their support.
Because COVID-19 is hitting some of us harder than others, Comeback KC works to support community partners who have trusted relationships with those communities. They work to mitigate the health disparities that the pandemic has exposed.
Comeback KC operates under the umbrella of KC Digital Drive, a 501c3 organization. The idea for the campaign originated with a group of business leaders who jumped into the fray early to help the city by purchasing test kits and PPE.
All of us working together will beat COVID-19.
