What You’ll Do:

  • Strategic Planning: Partners with senior leadership to develop and implement communications plans to advance the firm’s brand and support business goals.

  • Communications Adviser: Serve as a communications adviser to senior leaders regarding appropriate communications strategy needed to achieve business goals.

  • Content Creation: Develops engaging and informative content that is consistent with brand messaging for a variety of communications channels including internal, social and web platforms.

  • Leadership: Directs, plans and oversees implementation of all external communications efforts to support HNTB’s brand.

  • Event Management: Develops events and forums that strengthen industry relationships.

  • Media Relations: Serve as a liaison to media outlets.

  • Partnerships: Identify and establish external partnerships.

  • Agency Management: Manage public relations agencies and programs.

  • Team Leadership: Direct a team of communications professionals that implement and coordinate various communication programs.

  • Mentoring: Develops direct reports through guidance, mentoring, providing feedback and supporting to contribute to their individual performance and career success at HNTB.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism or equivalent and 10 years agency or corporate environment experience
