Overview: Web Content Manager

Responsibilities: The Web Content Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management and optimization of KCU’s website, ensuring content provides a clear, accessible and engaging user experience while supporting institutional priorities and KCU’s brand.

Working under the guidance of the University Relations supervisor, the Web Content Manager implements website content strategy and priorities and participates in governance, publishing workflows, content quality, SEO, accessibility, analytics and user experience.

The position serves as a primary resource for faculty, staff and other content contributors while collaborating with the Director of Web Services and IT on technical functionality, security and website infrastructure.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in web development, digital marketing, communications or a related field. Experience managing website content, preferably in a higher education, health care or non-profit setting. Experience working with content management systems and web platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, Omni CMS or similar systems.

Job Title: Marketing & Communications Manager

Overview: Wildwood is seeking a creative, mission-driven Marketing & Communications Manager to help share our story and expand awareness of our programs. The Marketing & Communications Manager will create compelling content, develop and execute outreach campaigns, strengthen relationships with our community, and promote both mission-driven programs and earned revenue opportunities. From social media and email marketing to storytelling, website updates, and community engagement, this role plays a key part in helping more people discover, connect with, and experience Wildwood.

Responsibilities: Develop and implement marketing strategies that increase awareness, participation, and revenue for Wildwood’s camps, school programs, group rentals, retreats, and special events.

Create and deliver engaging content across digital and print channels, including social media, email marketing, website updates, newsletters, photography/video, and other communications materials.

Develop and execute digital marketing efforts, including social media strategy, website updates, SEO, Google Business Profile, email campaigns, and analytics to evaluate effectiveness and improve outreach.

Maintain consistent branding, messaging, and a strong online presence across all communication channels.

Utilize CRM and marketing tools to support audience engagement, track inquiries, and strengthen communication with prospective participants and supporters.

Build relationships with schools, community organizations, businesses, and supporters through community outreach, events, and authentic communication.

Collaborate with program, development, and administrative teams to promote programs, support organizational initiatives, and manage marketing projects and deadlines.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience may substitute. 2–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing, nonprofit marketing, or a related field preferred. Experience creating and implementing content across multiple channels, including social media, email marketing, websites, and digital platforms. Working knowledge of marketing and communication tools such as Mailchimp, Little Green Light (or similar CRM), WordPress, Meta Business Suite, and Google Analytics preferred. Strong writing, storytelling, organizational, and project management skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate effectively with staff, volunteers, vendors, and community partners. Passion for Wildwood’s mission and the ability to communicate its impact in an authentic and compelling way. Must pass pre-employment background and driver record checks.

Salary Information: Annual salary range: $45,000 - $52,500. Full-time, year-round position with a hybrid work schedule, including one day per week in our La Cygne, Kansas office and additional on-site presence for events and programming. Occasional evening and weekend work required for community events, programs, and fundraising activities. Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, life, and disability insurance and a retirement plan. Flexible work schedule available outside of peak programming and event seasons.
