Eze Redwood, Lillian James Creative

Discover communication strategies for attracting and retaining top talent with Eze Redwood of Lillian James Creative.

Today's job market is hot! With layoffs at a record low and job openings and voluntary departures (or “quits”) near all-time highs, it's more challenging than ever to recruit and retain workers.

Our August meeting, Eze Redwood, VP at Lillian James Creative, will be highlighting communication strategies for attracting and retaining top talent. Eze believes that communications professionals have a large amount of power and looks forward to discussing how to use that power to shape an organization, create culture even when in a rigid environment, and develop an aura around a company that makes it irresistible to potential job applicants. You'll also have plenty of time to share your own insights.

As a special bonus, he will also do a tour of the Millennial & Gen Z psychology. What makes them want to leave, what makes them want to stay, and what turns them into brand champions.

Eze’s career has ranged from marketing to youth leadership development for US State Department programs, tech ventures, and even running an internal think tank inside a multinational investment bank.

Eze was the youngest ever Credits Manager at Wells Fargo, 1 of 16 inaugural Google NTEN Fellows (where he had free reign to create movements and work on whatever he wanted), a US-Italy Young Leaders Council fellow, US-Japan Diplomacy Fellow, and was the co-founder of a strategy consulting firm that was acquired by Lillian James Creative - where Eze now serves as Vice President of Community & Experiences. Eze helped build an artisan wings restaurant which was rated #3 on the "Top Places to Eat" list published by Yelp!, and has provided strategic direction as a part of twelve non-profit boards of directors. Eze was a White House Economic Forum invitee, sits on the Leadership Council of the National Small Business Council, the Mayor's Challenge Cabinet for Innovation, was a co-leader in the Kansas City Startup Village which received global press, and is helping Black Excellence create a learning, development, and recruitment community for black professionals.
