About Eric Morgenstern
Eric provides strategic communications consulting, executive counsel, and presentation coaching and training to executives and C-level leaders throughout the KC region.

His work focuses on leadership and communications. He helps leaders clarify their message, connect with the people who matter most, and change attitudes and behaviors.

Eric began his career in client management at Brewer Advertising, the Y&R office in KC. He later served as manager of public information and a national spokesperson for Hallmark Cards. He was President and COO of Boasberg Valentine Radford before co-founding Morningstar Communications with his wife, Shanny, in 1997.

Eric served on the KC Chamber Board for six years. He helped create KC Rising and served as Communications co-chair for 10 years.

He has received numerous local and national lifetime achievement awards, including the Entrepreneur of the Year and Arthur Lowell Lifetime Achievement awards from KC/IABC.

Eric frequently delivers keynote presentations, moderates panel discussions, and presents to leadership groups.

He enjoys spending time with Shanny, their grandchildren Cy and Anna, their adult children, growing flowers, and playing bass guitar in a rock-and-roll band.
