Professional Development
KC thought leaders from all around the region join our organization to present their expertise and expand on new ways to communicate. A few past speakers are author Nancy Mays, Mayor Quinton Lucas, president of the Greater KC Chamber Joe Reardon, communication enthusiast Chase Spears, digital marketing expert Andrea Kirsch, Kris Ketz, Isaac Collins and many more. We have a stacked lineup for the rest of the year that you don’t want to miss.

Each event (even virtual) offers the opportunity to network with other communication professionals from around the region who come from all different backgrounds. KC IABC is a 7-time winner of the International Association of Business Commmunicatiors' International Chapter of the Year Award. In 2021, our chapter also earned an Award of Excellence for chapter innovation and an Award of Merit for engaging students and young professionals.
