Core Responsibilities
Social Media
Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
Optimize firm pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s public relations, marketing and social content
Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules that align to firm key messages and content priorities
Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
Collaborate with offices and departments to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions.

Media Monitoring and Relations
Monitor, track and report media placements to inform and direct media relations plans for national, department and office-specific strategy and goals
Identify opportunities and coordinate regular pitches to the media in the firm’s major local markets and at the national level (story ideas, press releases, etc.), seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media
Write and edit press releases, media alerts, in-house newsletters, speeches and articles
Coordinate placement of all PR related material on external web site and social channels
Coordinate activities with external PR agencies to ensure consistency

Awards and Recognition Tracking and Management
Maintain comprehensive awards and recognition tracker and insure submissions are completed on deadline
Drive the firm’s surveys/submissions processes, engaging internal stakeholders as needed
Measure win/loss rate and make recommendations for continuous improvement


Education: Bachelor’s Degree (four-year college or university)


Three to five years related experience.
