Responsible for marketing communications planning and execution, especially writing campaign elements for a variety of communications channels, including web, email, social media, print, etc. Effectiveness is measured by creating assigned deliverables on-time, on-budget and according to communications industry best practices.

Responsibilities

-Execute upon commitments from marketing communications plans, including: (70%)
Strong comfort level writing, producing and/or coordinating of a variety of marketing communications tactics including: web copy, email copy and campaigns, paid media, earned media, social media, direct mail, bill inserts, bill messages, newsletters and newsletter articles, intranet information, brochures, point-of-purchase displays, trade show materials, and any other communications tactics required.

-Understands how segmentation information is used for increasing relevancy of marketing communications strategies and tactics to specific audiences. Able to refelect this understanding in work product.

-Manage all projects within budgets and timelines. Meet all deadlines.

-Maximize marketing communications resources and obtain efficient production of materials. Work with consultants, vendors and advertising/marketing/digital agencies as needed.

-Assist in developing strategic marketing communications plans and campaigns that include appropriate and clear objectives, strategies, tactics, timelines and budgets. Help develop plans supporting a variety of marketing communications and customer experience objectives, such as lead generation, nurture campaigns, product launch and marketing campaigns. Assist with obtaining buy-in and input from various internal stakeholders on such plans. (20%)

-Other communications responsibilities as needed and assigned. (10%)

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mass Communications, Marketing or related discipline.
• 3-5 years experience within a marketing communications or corporate communications department or as an account coordinator at a marketing communications agency preferred.
