Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas: Director Digital and Marketing Communications and eCommerce
This position will drive engagement with targeted audiences through brand positioning and marketing strategies across online and offline communication channels. Lead development and execute effective marketing communications, digital and social media strategies, web site development and usability, and customer experience initiatives. Manage a customer-centric team responsible for creative corporate design, product marketing, web site design, maintenance and usability, leverage digital and direct response opportunities and optimize social media.
Responsibilities Create an increasingly positive image of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas and its subsidiaries, enhance retention and increase enrollment. Increase existing and potential customers’ knowledge, understanding and support of company products and operations. Create an increasingly positive image and understanding of the company among employees.
Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism/Communications, Marketing or related field, and 5-7 years working experience managing and executing key aspects of marketing strategies online and offline. Minimum 5 years experience in Marketing management.
Extensive experience developing programs and processes that directly increase sales and create customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Experience executing content and marketing strategies for multi-channel campaigns and one-voice initiatives.
Proven experience in brand management, and digital and traditional advertising mediums.
Strong experience in web site usability and analysis, web site metrics and reporting.
Proven experience with project management and expertise in balancing multiple priorities.
Hands-on experience with developing print and digital marketing collateral, video content, direct response marketing content.
